Account Manager, Commercial Lines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and assess commercial accounts for coverage, limits, and other factors, providing suitable recommendations to clients.

• Build and nurture relationships with clients to ensure all service requirements are fulfilled.

• Generate new business from existing accounts and aid in achieving departmental production objectives.

• Collect information from clients and prepare applications for submission to the Marketing Department for new and/or renewal coverage.

• Create client proposals tailored to the client’s needs, rates, and coverage options.

• Process all transactions for assigned accounts, including applications, certificates of insurance, invoices, and necessary forms.

• Ensure the accuracy of data within the agency management system.

• May be responsible for the collection of premiums owed.

• Conduct business in a way that reflects an understanding of both the business and the financial implications for the Company.

• Stay updated on industry changes and trends to anticipate and respond to profit objectives.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in commercial insurance.

• Comprehensive knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets.

• Valid Producers’ license.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
