This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Take ownership of retention and profitability for a portfolio of business, generally involving plans with assets ranging from $10–$35 million.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with key decision-makers.
• Collaborate with plan sponsors and advisors on various aspects including plan design, investments, retirement readiness, affiliated product solutions, and identifying new opportunities.
• Conduct plan-level reviews that incorporate employee education planning.
• Address and resolve escalated issues effectively.
• Work alongside the local sales team to strengthen advisor relationships, create new business opportunities, and expand existing accounts.
• Travel locally or regionally for onsite meetings with advisors and clients.
• Coordinate internally with various departments and partners to address challenges and offer innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with senior staff on intricate issues, clients, accounts, projects, analyses, or internal relationships.
• Enhance Empower’s connections with advisors, plan sponsors, and third-party administrators within Oklahoma’s corporate sector.
• Oversee relationships with plan sponsors managing assets between $10 and $35 million.
• FINRA 6 & 63 registrations must be obtained within company-established timelines.
• A Life Insurance license is mandatory.
• FINRA fingerprinting is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience is necessary.
• A minimum of 4 years in financial services or relevant experience is expected.
• At least 2 years of experience in building strategic relationships is required.
• A foundational understanding of ERISA concepts regarding compliance, plan design, and regulatory requirements is essential.
• Ability to communicate moderately complex information in a clear and concise manner is important.
• Proficiency in organizing facts, data, and other information to identify problems and devise effective solutions is needed.
• Basic negotiation and time management skills are required, with oversight from management.
• Willingness to travel 40 to 60 percent of the time as dictated by territory or business portfolio.
• Most travel will involve the use of a personal vehicle, with occasional overnight stays.
• Normal working conditions are primarily from a residential office with access to a distraction-free workspace.
• Must have authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT.
• A reliable high-speed internet connection with a wired setup and an appropriate home workspace for remote work is required.
