Reimbursement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Support reimbursement processes to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent management of coverage-related inquiries within customer operations and patient support workflows.

• Coordinate documentation related to benefits, case updates, follow-up tasks, and communications for reimbursement support to facilitate case progression.

• Address routine reimbursement challenges, documentation deficiencies, and workflow anomalies to minimize delays and enhance access-related outcomes.

• Keep precise case records, reimbursement paperwork, and system updates to promote operational transparency, reporting readiness, and workflow management.

• Track reimbursement patterns, recurring challenges, and escalation signals to assist in proactive issue resolution and service continuity.

• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to synchronize communications, clarify reimbursement criteria, and aid in case resolution.

• Contribute to enhancements in processes, updates to workflows, and operational readiness initiatives that bolster scalable and future-oriented reimbursement support services.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in reimbursement support, patient services, customer operations, healthcare support services, case coordination, claims support, or a related field is required.

• Certification in reimbursement support, patient access, customer support, service management, customer relationship management systems, or process improvement is preferred.
