This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Assist in the daily operations of the Registrar’s Office related to academic student files.
• Address student inquiries regarding academic records in person, via telephone, and through email.
• Execute updates to student records, including changes to personal information and names.
• Collaborate with Academic Advising, Financial Aid, Academic Affairs, and other university departments to address complex record-related issues.
• Ensure confidentiality and protect the integrity of academic records in compliance with FERPA and institutional policies.
• Audit and verify academic records for accuracy, completeness, compliance, and accreditation standards.
• Manage the processing of transcripts, supporting documents, and official transcript requests.
• Conduct audits for degrees and graduation, and support the certification process for graduation.
• Handle enrollment verification requests and provide official documentation as required.
• Oversee the receipt, review, indexing, and maintenance of student files.
• Review and process approvals, denials, and related documentation for Satisfactory Academic Progress.
• Monitor operational metrics, identify trends, and suggest improvements to processes.
• Assist with the planning and execution of commencement activities, including validation of graduation eligibility, record keeping, graduate communications, and support for local events.
• Participate in special projects, process enhancements, and regulatory compliance tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in higher education is required.
• Familiarity with student records policies and FERPA regulations.
• Exceptional communication skills via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
• Preferred experience with Anthology Student (Campus Nexus Student).
• Strong ability to plan, organize, and execute assigned tasks.
• Capability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Skilled in multitasking within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with care.
• A dedicated, quiet home office space that is distraction-free.
• Home internet must be directly connected to the router via Ethernet, with a minimum of 25 Mb download, 15 Mb upload, and latency under 40 ms.
• Willingness to work some weekends and evenings as necessary.
• Option to work remotely.
• The company provides a 50-foot Ethernet cable.
• Flexible hours during weekends and evenings as required.
