This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of a domain related to company performance, encompassing diagnosis, roadmap, realized value, and executive relationships.
• Articulate unexpressed business challenges and transform executive concerns into structured, actionable agendas.
• Lead priority determination across Strategy & Operations as well as related operating teams.
• Address conflicting executive demands without needing to escalate each issue.
• Establish analytical benchmarks and resolve disagreements regarding figures with Finance and the executive team.
• Transition executive discussions into decisive actions.
• Facilitate consensus among leaders who are at an impasse.
• Develop management rhythms and standards, including cadences, systems, tools, and documentation.
• Present portfolio value to the executive team with credible attribution.
• Oversee and cultivate a team of three to four individuals, including Managers.
• Strengthen the team’s capabilities, manage challenging conversations, and foster leadership growth.
• Handle hiring for the function and shape its operational model, standards, and culture.
• Convert frontline operational realities into requirements for Product, Data Engineering, and AI roadmaps.
• Establish criteria for evaluating AI investments grounded in real business cases.
• Remain actively involved with models, memos, and working sessions when the stakes justify engagement.
• Collaborate across healthcare, logistics, technology, Operations, Product, and Data Engineering.
• Develop the next generation of Strategy & Operations talent.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 7-9 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, product development, or a combination thereof.
• Proven track record of ownership in enterprise-level, cross-functional programs with measurable business outcomes.
• Experience in managing and developing a team, including individuals who manage others or independently lead workstreams.
• Executive presence with the ability to navigate both executive and frontline operational settings.
• Strong analytical and technical proficiency.
• Comfort with data and reasoning regarding platforms, automation, and agentic AI tools, such as Claude or Claude Code.
• Capability to evaluate what projects are worth pursuing.
• History of success in ambiguous situations where problems were not clearly defined.
• Strong business acumen.
• Focus on creating sustainable operational changes rather than performing one-time analyses.
• Ability to function as a player-coach, remaining hands-on while guiding others.
• Experience leading strategic or platform initiatives within a product organization is highly preferred.
• A technical background, such as a degree in Computer Science or engineering or early-career building experience, is beneficial but not mandatory.
• A consulting background, including experience with MBB or equivalent firms, is advantageous but not essential.
• An MBA or similar qualification is a plus.
• Familiarity with healthcare, logistics, transportation, marketplaces, or regulated operational environments is beneficial.
