Registered Nurse – Casual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide inclusive and professional virtual care through scheduled synchronous consultations.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments for preventative HIV care, encompassing history taking, risk evaluations, and psychosocial assessments.

• Offer education on STBBI prevention, guidance on HIV prevention, strategies for risk reduction, and behavioral counseling.

• Inform and empower patients about treatment options, stigma, and overall wellness.

• Deliver asynchronous care, which includes reviewing results, patient education, and clinical follow-ups.

• Keep precise and detailed patient records within the EMR system.

• Utilize virtual tools for documentation and patient communication.

• Work collaboratively with Nurse Practitioners and support team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse compact state license is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical nursing position.

• Clinical experience in a semi-independent practice role related to medical patient care and/or sexual health.

• Proven experience in delivering virtual healthcare services.

• Strong communication skills alongside a compassionate approach to care delivery.

• Familiarity with HIV prevention efforts and/or working with the LGBTQ2IA+ community.

• Availability for asynchronous patient care tasks and up to 20 hours per week for scheduled shifts, including live consultations.

• Additional non-compact state licenses, particularly in NV and/or OR, are highly advantageous.

• Experience engaging with gender and sexually diverse communities.

• Background in the private sector, a start-up, or a technology company is preferred.

• Bilingualism in Spanish is a valuable asset.
