Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Spanish Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services via Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Provide mental health treatment to patients of all ages.

• Offer care to patients enrolled in commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare.

• Complete around 30 client care hours weekly, averaging 6 clients daily.

• Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions.

• Diagnose and treat mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Create treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their personal goals.

• Perform thorough assessments of client needs.

• Utilize telehealth software, video communication, and internal messaging tools.

• Fill out the application questionnaire and collaborate with a senior recruiter if selected.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's level degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted ability to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• A work-from-home environment that ensures privacy for patient safety and compliance with HIPAA.

• Proficiency in English.

• Spanish language skills preferred; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Comfort with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Experience working collaboratively with clients to achieve their objectives.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Capability to maintain 30 client care hours weekly, averaging 6 clients daily.

• Experience with patients facing substance use and addiction issues.

• Experience with patients suffering from chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Proven experience in one-on-one psychotherapy, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours weekly.

• Current associate therapist/registered intern licensure or relevant licensure status.
