This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +1 more state.
• Lead the treatment team in collaboration with providers, care navigators, and administrators.
• Act as the authority on addiction and recovery while coordinating treatment decisions for members.
• Oversee and enhance clinical skills and knowledge associated with the clinical service model.
• Comply with Groups Recovery System and deliver consistent, high-quality counseling services.
• Conduct intake assessments to determine individuals’ suitability for the program.
• Complete required clinical assessments daily.
• Provide individual support, including crisis intervention, referrals, liaison with external parties, and coordination with Care Navigators.
• Utilize the custom EMR to efficiently record member progress.
• Collaborate with providers to assess treatment suitability for each member.
• Oversee compliance activities related to member admission criteria and documentation.
• Participate in training to maintain licensure.
• Document care coordination needs addressed by Care Navigators.
• Represent the treatment team in discussions regarding challenging members.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Full licensure required: LADC, LCSW/LISW, LCAC, LMFT, or LPCC/LMHC.
• Ability and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states.
• Minimum of two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting.
• Minimum of two years of experience conducting intakes in a SUD setting.
• High comfort level with technology, including EMR, email, software, and mobile applications such as Google Apps.
• Strong commitment to member success.
• Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and accountability.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to foster positive relationships.
• Capability to make objective clinical decisions that demonstrate sound judgment and align with Groups Recovery System and harm reduction philosophy.
• Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Access to reliable internet and telephone services, with download speeds exceeding 40 Mbps, upload speeds exceeding 10 Mbps, and a robust WiFi signal from the remote work location.
• Remote work arrangement.
• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.
• Internal and external training required for maintaining licensure.
• Fully virtual care model.
