This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct six weekly group therapy sessions, each lasting one hour, utilizing a structured, evidence-based curriculum.

• Facilitate discussions within groups employing approved modalities in line with the clinical framework.

• Collaborate effectively with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.

• Monitor the progress of members and accurately document outcomes.

• Foster a supportive and recovery-oriented atmosphere for all members.

• Participate in local community outreach initiatives to further the mission of the Groups.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• Current behavioral health licensure in Virginia, which may include LPC, LCSW, CSAC, LSATP, or LMFT.

• Associate-level status with the capability and willingness to achieve licensure reciprocity in other states.

• A minimum of two years’ experience leading groups in a substance use disorder environment.

• High proficiency with technology, including EMR systems, telehealth software, Google applications (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), and mobile applications.

• Availability to work 2–3 evenings per week, up to 9 PM as necessary.

• Attributes such as compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and dedication to member success are essential.

• Preferred qualifications include backgrounds in mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
