Registered Cardiac Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Educate patients regarding their diagnoses, test results, and treatment plans.

• Collaborate with cardiologists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Engage in discussions about complex cases and participate in multidisciplinary care teams.

• Utilize clinical decision-making to elevate concerns to the care team as needed.

• Keep precise patient records, including interactions, medical histories, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

• Arrange and conduct follow-up virtual visits.

• Advocate for the needs and preferences of patients.

• Comply with legal, ethical, confidentiality, and telemedicine standards.

• Manage incoming patient requests and prioritize the patient panel according to need and client service level agreements (SLAs).

• Engage in continuing education and maintain relevant certifications.

• Take part in quality assurance initiatives aimed at enhancing cardiology care.

• Support the virtual cardiology team and coordinate care in a dynamic remote setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact).

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the field of cardiology.

• Experience in telemedicine is an advantage.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, particularly in a virtual setting.

• Capability to educate patients and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Ability to operate independently and make clinical decisions under appropriate supervision.

• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.

• Dedication to patient-centered care and a deep understanding of empathy for patients with chronic cardiology conditions.
