Registered Cardiac Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Educate patients regarding their diagnoses, test results, and treatment plans.

• Collaborate with cardiologists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care coordination.

• Engage in discussions on complex cases and contribute to multidisciplinary care teams.

• Utilize clinical decision-making to escalate any concerns to the care team.

• Keep accurate and detailed patient records, including interactions, medical histories, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

• Arrange and conduct follow-up virtual appointments.

• Monitor patients' progress and address any concerns or inquiries.

• Advocate for the needs and preferences of patients.

• Comply with legal, ethical, confidentiality, and telemedicine regulations.

• Manage incoming patient requests and oversee the patient panel based on need and client SLAs.

• Pursue ongoing education in cardiology and maintain relevant certifications.

• Take part in quality assurance initiatives to enhance cardiology care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact).

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in cardiology.

• Experience in telemedicine is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in a virtual setting.

• Ability to educate patients and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including cardiologists and advanced practitioners.

• Capability to operate independently and make clinical decisions under suitable supervision.

• Proficient in telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and empathy towards patients with chronic cardiology conditions.

• Demonstrates compassion and empathy when interacting with patients and their families.
