This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise go-to-market strategy that aligns with company objectives and market opportunities.
• Lead and oversee the UKI enterprise sales team, promoting collaboration, professional development, and high performance.
• Establish and execute sales strategies, tactics, and targets aimed at driving revenue growth and meeting sales quotas.
• Cultivate and sustain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for customer success.
• Coordinate sales and marketing initiatives, campaigns, and messaging to effectively generate and nurture leads.
• Collaborate with Product Management to comprehend customer needs and influence the product roadmap and offerings.
• Create and enforce processes for lead generation, opportunity management, and pipeline management.
• Provide leadership in sales forecasting, resource allocation, and budget oversight.
• Enhance sales tools, technologies, and systems in partnership with Sales Operations.
• Coach and mentor members of the enterprise sales team.
• Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, offering recommendations to executive leadership.
• Investigate industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.
• Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams.
• Represent Ping Identity at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
• Stay updated on sales best practices and industry certifications.
• Extensive experience in a senior sales leadership position within the technology sector.
• Proven experience managing large teams in a matrixed, distributed go-to-market organization.
• Background in selling to clients with annual revenues between $500M and $2B.
• Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets.
• Strong grasp of sales strategies, processes, and performance metrics.
• Leadership and management abilities to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation capabilities.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
• Business acumen with a deep understanding of sales operations, forecasting, and budget management.
• Ability to analyze market dynamics, customer requirements, and the competitive landscape.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage ambiguity.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for customer engagements and business needs.
• At least 15 years of progressive experience in sales, sales enablement, operations, and/or customer success within software and technology fields.
• MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience in cybersecurity or identity and access management (IAM) is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement platforms is preferred.
• Experience working with global sales teams and international markets is preferred.
• Strong relationships within the technology industry and professional networks are preferred.
