
Regional Vice President, Business Development – Healthcare Revenue Cycle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Identify and cultivate new business prospects within hospitals, health systems, physician practices, and healthcare organizations for revenue cycle management solutions.
• Evaluate target accounts by examining billing, coding, claims management, denial prevention, reimbursement optimization, accounts receivable performance, and compliance needs.
• Direct the consultative sales process through meetings, customized presentations, solution alignment, objection resolution, and contract negotiations.
• Establish and uphold an accurate sales pipeline along with detailed activity tracking in Salesforce.
• Finalize intricate healthcare sales by forging executive relationships and clearly communicating value propositions.
• Collaborate with operations and implementation teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to onboarding and successful RCM service deployment.
• Enhance existing client relationships through additional services, technology, or process enhancements.
• Stay informed on healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, payer dynamics, and competitive offerings to shape go-to-market strategies.
• Provide market insights to leadership for the development of new RCM products, services, and solutions.
• Represent the organization at healthcare and revenue cycle industry events, conferences, and networking occasions.
• Meet or surpass annual revenue and growth objectives.
• Undertake other responsibilities as assigned.
• Adhere to HIPAA and Information Security policies when handling protected health information.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Over 7 years of experience in Sales.
• Proven success in selling RCM solutions such as billing, coding, claims management, denial management, AR recovery, patient financial services, or healthcare SaaS platforms.
• Established history of meeting or exceeding revenue quotas and closing complex, enterprise-level healthcare contracts.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models, payer requirements, regulatory compliance, and the entire revenue cycle.
• Experience working with hospitals, health systems, physician groups, or large healthcare organizations.
• Proficient in consultative and solution-based selling to C-suite and executive stakeholders (CFO, VP Revenue Cycle, RCM leadership).
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce and pipeline forecasting.
• Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Strong problem-solving and creative skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• High level of integrity and reliability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-oriented approach.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Friendly and welcoming demeanor for customer service interactions.
• Ability to use, protect, and disclose patients’ protected health information in accordance with HIPAA standards.
• Compliance with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Capability to limit viewing of PHI to the minimum necessary for performing assigned duties.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
• 50% of time allocated to traveling for sales appointments and conferences.
