This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Lead the US East Regional team at Onterris Environmental Consulting & Engineering.
• Create and implement strategic growth initiatives aimed at achieving financial success for the environmental consulting sector in the US East.
• Mentor senior office managers while managing regional P&L, resource planning, and budgeting.
• Drive sales revenue and profit objectives within the region.
• Identify strategic partnerships and potential acquisition targets, overseeing the integration of acquired companies.
• Cultivate a high-performing, client-centric business culture that reflects Onterris' values and principles.
• Regularly interact with Onterris Executive Leadership.
• Collaborate with teams across regional geographies, technical disciplines, commercial markets, clients, and organizational structures.
• Promote a culture of high performance focused on growth and continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership across US East offices in alignment with the corporate vision and strategy.
• Work with sales, marketing, and commercial teams to develop growth strategies and value propositions.
• Formulate and execute strategic plans to achieve EBITDA, revenue, utilization, and DSO targets.
• Leverage corporate financial reporting to enhance profitability through operational efficiency, performance management, pricing strategies, and cost controls.
• Create annual budgets for cost centers and conduct resource allocation assessments.
• Forecast quarterly regional financial performance against budgets and KPIs, implementing corrective action plans as necessary.
• Take part in Go/No Go opportunity assessments and reviews of delegation of authority.
• Advocate for Onterris’ expertise, capabilities, brand, and new service offerings.
• Supervise safety, health, and environmental matters to guarantee team safety and compliance with regulations.
• Identify talent, markets, services, and targeted growth strategies.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize and safeguard the business.
• Collaborate with Shared Services, including Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Safety, and IT.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Geology, Biological, Cultural, or related Environmental Sciences is required.
• 15+ years of experience in high-end environmental engineering or consulting, ideally within a high-growth context.
• Proven experience in leading larger, expanding organizations (with revenues over $50M and double-digit growth) across various regions, demonstrating measurable business and leadership successes.
• Strong financial management expertise with responsibilities for P&L and balance sheets.
• Capability to identify risks and devise action plans to enhance or rectify operational components.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities for complex and multi-disciplinary challenges.
• Ability to operate strategically at a high level while also engaging in daily operational tasks.
• Capacity to lead in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with shared service functions including HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and IT.
• Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
