This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Take ownership of and implement a growth strategy tailored to each firm's business portfolio, market potential, and opportunities for establishing new relationships.
• Foster connections with RIA firms, branches, and advisors, acting as a trusted ally and expert resource on the Adhesion platform.
• Generate and pursue new business prospects by pinpointing key decision-makers, cultivating relationships, and facilitating opportunities through asset onboarding.
• Identify and secure opportunities to enhance wallet share through external assets, increased platform usage, and additional outsourcing solutions.
• Lead consultative discussions that highlight the value-added services of Adhesion, including tax management, tax transitions, AssetMark’s Direct Indexes, manager platform enhancements, and OCIO+ programs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and solutions that strengthen Adhesion's offerings and benefits for advisors.
• Safeguard and expand the existing book of business by recognizing retention challenges, fortifying relationships, and remaining attuned to client requirements.
• Allocate over 50% of time to proactive activities, with more than 50% involving in-territory travel, face-to-face meetings, and digital client interactions such as video calls, email campaigns, and phone outreach.
• Anticipate results, maintain a proactive sales pipeline, and achieve set sales targets.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales and business development goals, including generating new business.
• Highly motivated, growth-focused, competitive, and proactive, with the urgency and determination to create opportunities and secure new business.
• Capability to swiftly learn managed account and technological solutions and adjust in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills, encompassing the ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including the capacity to influence senior stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, organized, flexible, and capable of prioritizing activities that drive growth.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is required.
• Preferred: 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, relationship management, or account management working with financial advisors.
• Travel is required, based on the coverage model and experience.
• Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the US.
