This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Oversee the comprehensive management of DePuy Synthes Trauma sales strategies, activities, operations, and budgets within the designated geographic area.
• Develop and implement selling strategies and strategic sales plans aimed at achieving Trauma sales targets and objectives.
• Exhibit extensive product and procedural knowledge, ensuring clinical and procedural excellence, along with proficiency in product expertise and experience in launching new products.
• Recruit, hire, and maintain a diverse regional sales team.
• Provide continuous performance management, mentorship, and career development opportunities for the sales team.
• Collaborate with Consultants to establish and meet territory objectives while enhancing patient care and customer satisfaction.
• Lead the acquisition of new accounts and surgeon partnerships.
• Assist Consultants in penetrating existing accounts with innovative technologies.
• Analyze healthcare market dynamics, industry trends, customer segmentation, customer data, and purchasing processes.
• Manage a product portfolio, responsible for sales, growth, income, gross profits, profitability, asset management, and budget oversight.
• Administer regional business expenses with a focus on fiscal responsibility.
• Build relationships with key surgeons, accounts, and associations to identify opportunities and foster collaboration.
• Engage in compliance program activities and uphold integrity, ethics, compliance, training, and adherence to applicable laws and policies.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, or Finance.
• MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of pertinent business and/or leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of management experience, including coaching or mentoring roles.
• Proven leadership abilities, especially in guiding teams through change.
• Exceptional listening, written, and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to deliver impactful sales presentations that yield positive outcomes.
• Proven clinical and procedural excellence, product expertise, and experience with new product introductions.
• In-depth understanding of customer needs and the ability to leverage customer data to influence the buying process.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop field sales talent effectively.
• A successful track record in navigating complex organizational environments and making decisions with an enterprise mentality.
• Proven experience in business planning and project management.
• Documented achievements in sales performance.
• A valid driver's license issued in the United States.
• Willingness to travel; significant travel (30%–50%) is required.
• Must currently reside in the assigned geographic area or be open to relocation.
