This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and market share goals within the designated territory.
• Identify and seek out new business opportunities with utilities, EPCs, industrial facilities, and renewable energy clients.
• Advocate for Qualitrol solutions related to transformer monitoring, dissolved gas and bushing monitoring, partial discharge monitoring, GIS monitoring, breaker monitoring, power quality, fault recording, and digital asset management.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops for clients and partners.
• Assist throughout the complete sales process, including prospecting, technical qualification, proposal creation, commercial negotiations, and project closure.
• Establish and nurture strong technical and commercial relationships with customer stakeholders.
• Align Qualitrol technologies with customer reliability and maintenance strategies.
• Provide consultative assistance regarding asset monitoring, condition assessment, predictive maintenance, and digital substation initiatives.
• Support site visits, technical assessments, FAT/SAT activities, and field demonstrations as necessary.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in high-voltage asset monitoring technologies.
• Develop and assist value-added resellers as part of the Certified Partner program.
• Offer technical and commercial support to channel partners and clients.
• Maintain opportunity pipelines, sales forecasts, and account activity within Salesforce CRM.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.
• Monitor market activities, competitive intelligence, and customer project developments.
• Collaborate with leadership to formulate account plans and strategies for territory growth.
• Relay Voice of Customer feedback and market needs to engineering and product management.
• Assist with product launches, pilot projects, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Coordinate with field service and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
• Operate across remote settings, customer visits, substations, power plants, OEM facilities, and industry events.
• Travel approximately 40–60% based on territory and project activity.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Advanced technical or business education is preferred but not mandatory.
• Over 7 years of experience in technical solution sales and territory management/growth in power systems engineering or similar fields.
• Demonstrated ability to understand, map, and manage large complex buying groups and sales cycles across various product categories.
• Experience in electric utilities, transmission & distribution, power generation, or industrial electrical systems.
• Proven success in supporting or selling high-voltage monitoring and diagnostic solutions.
• Experience collaborating with utilities, OEMs, EPCs, or industrial end users is preferred.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Consultative selling approach and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts.
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong organizational skills and discipline in forecasting.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
