
Regional Sales Manager – T&M

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.
• Expand a specific geographic area and oversee a team of sales professionals within that territory
• Drive profitable time and materials sales growth for all clients in the designated region
• Foster and uphold a culture of accountability centered on sustainable customer partnerships
• Maintain and cultivate essential supplier relationships
• Implement initiatives set forth by TestEquity and its partners
• Forecast and establish annual sales objectives for individual territories
• Execute regional and corporate sales strategies
• Create and implement field sales action plans
• Inspire, energize, and empower the sales team
• Build and enhance relationships with key suppliers
• Assist suppliers’ sales representatives through collaborative sales efforts
• Mentor the team and develop their knowledge in sales, products, services, and offers
• Enhance profit margins via pricing and product-mix strategies
• Recruit, nurture, and sustain a pipeline of skilled sales professionals
• Manage the performance of sellers and enhance organizational talent
• Navigate business processes to eliminate obstacles
• Oversee the opportunity pipeline to ensure achievement of goals
• Develop and track performance and activity metrics
• Collaborate across functions to create go-to-market strategies and drive organizational change
• Bachelor’s degree in sales, business, marketing, and/or engineering is preferred
• 10+ years of experience in sales or sales leadership
• Proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales goals in a high-tech or industrial B2B distribution setting
• Capability to coach, motivate, and lead a sales team to achieve profitable sales targets consistently
• Proficiency in contracts and negotiation
• Strategic mindset with the ability to craft and implement go-to-market strategies
• Outstanding interpersonal abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel throughout the year
• Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable standards
• Commitment to punctuality and regular attendance
• Must possess authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
• Full-time employment
