This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead, mentor, and enhance the performance of a sales team focused on large group practices, hospitals, health systems, and IDN clients.
• Formulate and implement customer-specific selling strategies and key account management plans.
• Conduct regular field visits and engage with customers to provide coaching, support, and performance evaluations.
• Record field coaching activities and follow-up actions through ride-along reports and development plans.
• Identify knowledge, competency, and skill gaps within the team and implement targeted development programs.
• Tackle performance challenges through improvement plans and coaching strategies.
• Collaborate with the Head of Sales to enhance team capabilities and boost sales efficiency.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with stakeholders across key accounts, hospitals, health systems, IDNs, GPOs, institutional clients, and large group practices.
• Assist in navigating complex healthcare organizations and engaging with key decision-makers.
• Drive regional business plans and ensure alignment with organizational sales goals.
• Utilize CRM systems, sales reports, and forecasting tools to track performance and accountability.
• Guarantee timely and precise reporting of sales activities, customer insights, and field intelligence.
• Oversee regional sales budgets and expenditures.
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and business objectives.
• Support product launches and initiatives for portfolio expansion.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Market Access, National Accounts, Customer Service, and other internal teams.
• Participate in national and regional sales meetings, leadership discussions, and commercial initiatives.
• Lead regional sales operations including personnel management, performance management, and talent development.
• Report directly to the Head of Sales.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 8+ years of proven pharmaceutical sales experience.
• A minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience as a Regional Sales Manager or in a similar role overseeing Sales Representatives.
• Oncology experience is highly preferred, particularly in large group practices and institutional settings.
• Experience in branded pharmaceutical sales, 505B-2, specialty sales, or oncology-focused healthcare sales is preferred.
• Experience selling to hospitals, health systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), physician offices, or institutional healthcare accounts is preferred.
• Experience managing or collaborating with GPOs and handling key account management is highly desirable.
• Proven success in developing and executing customer-centric selling strategies that drive sales growth and market expansion.
• Strong coaching, talent development, and team-building skills with a history of enhancing sales performance.
• Experience in building or scaling high-performing sales teams is a significant advantage.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong business acumen.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, sales reporting tools, forecasting processes, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa transfer or sponsorship, now or in the future.
