This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Oversee the overall performance of the designated region while providing leadership to the sales team.
• Cultivate a motivational atmosphere, eliminate obstacles, nurture team development, and establish expectations for successful compliance.
• Review, adjust as needed, and authorize strategically focused, account-specific business plans.
• Organize ride-alongs and mentor sales representatives on product knowledge, call planning, territory management, relationship development, and sales techniques.
• Collaborate with home office staff on marketing strategies, targeting initiatives, incentive plans, and sales training resources.
• Operate autonomously within organizational frameworks to meet objectives within specified timelines.
• Partner with cross-functional team members to reach milestones and objectives.
• Promote team cohesion and foster open lines of communication.
• Actively seek solutions, support colleagues and team members, and collaborate across all departments.
• Propel new business opportunities and enhance nephrology relationships through consultative, data-driven interactions.
• Manage and monitor intricate referral and shipped product models, as well as non-open-channel distribution.
• Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders within the region or nationwide.
• Assist in team recruitment, onboarding, training, motivation, and performance evaluation.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales management.
• Experience in the nephrology therapeutic area is highly desirable.
• Proficient in managing and tracking complex sequences of referral and shipped product models, along with non-open-channel distribution.
• Preferred relationships with Key Opinion Leaders within the region or nationally.
• Proven record of team development, including recruitment, training, motivation, and performance management.
• Strong analytical skills to identify solutions and navigate challenges or obstacles.
• 70% travel required.
• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Capacity to work collaboratively within a team while exhibiting high integrity and empathy.
• Excellent listening skills and clear communication abilities.
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license.
• Local travel required; some overnight travel may be necessary, varying by region.
