
Regional Sales Manager – RTS Intercom

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Take ownership of sales growth and Order Intake within the designated U.S. region.
• Identify and cultivate new customers, projects, applications, and market opportunities.
• Drive new business through prospecting, client visits, networking, industry events, channel engagement, and competitive displacement.
• Focus on acquiring new logos and underpenetrated accounts within strategic verticals.
• Develop opportunities from identification through technical validation, quotation, negotiation, and closure.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Manage and nurture a portfolio of Strategic Key Accounts.
• Create and implement Strategic Account Plans.
• Map customer stakeholders and foster relationships from technical teams to executive decision-makers.
• Enhance RTS's share of wallet and broaden its presence within strategic customers.
• Develop multi-year opportunity roadmaps and conduct regular account reviews.
• Coordinate commercial, technical, product, and management resources to secure opportunities.
• Collaborate with dealers, distributors, system integrators, rental companies, consultants, and other channel partners.
• Develop joint account and opportunity plans with key priority partners.
• Support strategic quotations, demonstrations, competitive evaluations, negotiations, and major project pursuits.
• Manage significant sales opportunities from qualification to closure.
• Maintain organized Salesforce CRM records and provide monthly and quarterly forecasts.
• Represent RTS at trade shows, customer demonstrations, roadshows, industry events, and partner activities.
• Gather and relay market intelligence.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Product Management, Marketing, Technical Sales, and other departments to convert opportunities into revenue.
• 3–7+ years of successful experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual sales quotas.
• Experience in developing both new business and Strategic Key Accounts.
• Familiarity with selling professional technology, AV, broadcast, communications, networking, or other technically complex solutions.
• Experience in collaborating with dealers, distributors, system integrators, consultants, and end users.
• Knowledge of professional intercom, broadcast, sports production, live production, rental, or professional audio markets is highly desirable.
• Established relationships within the U.S. broadcast, sports, production, rental, or professional AV ecosystem are a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM is a plus.
• Experience and/or formal training in Miller Heiman / Korn Ferry sales methodologies, especially Strategic Selling® / Blue Sheet and LAMP® / Gold Sheet, is a key differentiator.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Indefinite U.S. work authorization is required; future sponsorship is not available.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region, up to 50%.
• Strong skills in negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building.
• Disciplined approach to opportunity management, pipeline management, account planning, forecasting, and CRM usage.
