This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and lead a sales team to meet sales and profit objectives within a designated territory.
• Create and propose sales and marketing initiatives while establishing both short-term and long-term sales strategies.
• Develop and execute sales and customer retention initiatives aimed at enhancing sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Plan, forecast, and report on sales activities and competitive pricing strategies.
• Supervise daily operations of sales representatives across various channels, markets, or product lines.
• Outline the sales process and create innovative and effective sales strategies.
• Analyze data and generate reports to pinpoint opportunities for sales and revenue growth within the territory.
• Spend time in the field interacting with customers and internal partners to address escalated issues.
• Create sales processes to boost market share in the assigned territory.
• Oversee and nurture direct reports, including outside sales and special product sales roles.
• Evaluate performance management, identify high-potential candidates, and mentor the team for career advancement and sales improvement.
• Preferred candidate should be located in Los Angeles, CA or Southern California, excluding San Diego County.
• Proven experience in sales or team leadership within MRO and Janitorial/Sanitation product sectors.
• Solid understanding of customer needs, product usage, and industry developments.
• Recent experience in a leadership role.
• Capability to formulate and implement a strategic sales plan for an existing customer portfolio.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to manage and prioritize diverse projects, requests, and circumstances.
• Personal vehicle operation is necessary, typically exceeding 20% of the work week.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is required.
• A BS/BA in a relevant field is generally required.
• Typically requires over 7 years of experience in a related area.
• Certification may be necessary.
• Overnight travel is typically required for more than 50% of the time.
