This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.
• Propel growth across North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C., and New Jersey.
• Initiate, structure, finalize, and oversee equipment-secured financing transactions.
• Enhance market share throughout the designated region.
• Travel to prospective and current customer locations to conduct in-person meetings.
• Seek out new relationships through phone calls, emails, and social media outreach.
• Deliver outstanding service to existing clients.
• Grasp and communicate complex finance and lease structures effectively.
• Offer customized financial solutions tailored to clients' specific needs.
• Generate new business at assigned volume and yield targets.
• Identify opportunities, present compelling value propositions, and close deals to achieve or surpass sales goals.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with current customers and prospects.
• Participate in training events, sales training, product training, trade shows, and industry-related conferences.
• Work for Equify Financial, an independent specialty finance company focused on collateral-based equipment financing.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience in the finance industry, ideally in structured equipment finance.
• A demonstrated history of success is highly regarded.
• A strong grasp of sales, credit, marketing, business, and management principles.
• Proficient in industry-specific terminology and concepts.
• Exceptional skills in written communication, telephone interactions, and personal presentations.
• Ability to employ logic and reasoning to assess strengths and weaknesses of various solutions, conclusions, or approaches.
• Capability to evaluate relative costs and benefits of possible actions.
• Skill in identifying complex problems, reviewing related information, and developing and assessing options for solutions.
• Ability to protect confidential and sensitive information in accordance with privacy laws and company policies.
• Self-motivated, driven, and disciplined individual.
• Must be capable of lifting 15 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to complete tasks despite frequent interruptions.
• Must exercise discretion and independent judgment as necessary.
• Must be able to communicate clearly over the phone and with colleagues.
• The candidate must reside in North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, D.C., or New Jersey.
