This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee and enhance the existing user base of ITT Rheinhütte Pumpen products across North America.
• Reclaim lost accounts and discover new business prospects.
• Propel profitable revenue growth for corrosion-resistant pumping solutions.
• Cultivate relationships with end users, distributors, EPC contractors, engineering firms, and consultants.
• Formulate account plans for key end users in the fertilizer, mining, steel, and chemical sectors.
• Identify opportunities for replacements and upgrade projects.
• Boost aftermarket revenue through spare parts, pump replacements, and upgrades.
• Evaluate customer losses and implement recovery strategies.
• Reconnect with inactive customers through technical consultations, site visits, and performance enhancement programs.
• Execute competitive displacement initiatives.
• Create and manage a sales pipeline to meet annual revenue goals.
• Develop capture strategies for capital projects and brownfield expansions.
• Ensure that Rheinhütte Pumpen specifications are incorporated into project designs and bidding documents.
• Monitor projects through feasibility, FEED, engineering, procurement, and execution stages.
• Recruit, train, and oversee distributors; set objectives and growth plans.
• Conduct sales reviews, technical training, and joint customer visits.
• Suggest optimal pumping solutions based on process needs and total cost of ownership.
• Coordinate project pursuit activities with application engineering and Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 5–10 years of experience in industrial sales.
• Demonstrated expertise in pumps, rotating equipment, or process industries.
• Strong knowledge of sulfuric acid and corrosive chemical applications.
• Experience in managing distributors and direct end-user accounts.
• Preferred established network within the fertilizer, mining, chemical, or steel sectors.
• Willingness to travel extensively across North America (50–70%).
• Technical proficiency in sulfuric acid pumps, phosphoric acid pumps, corrosive chemical handling systems, plastic-lined and fluoropolymer pumps, and both metallic and ceramic pump technologies.
• Skills in strategic account management, business development, EPC project sales, distributor management, negotiation and contract management, technical application selling, competitive account penetration, forecasting and pipeline management, and engaging with executive-level customers.
