Regional Sales Manager, K12 EdTech

📋 Description

• Meet and surpass annual sales objectives within the designated territory.

• Discover and qualify new opportunities in schools and districts through research, outreach, and relationship development.

• Guide potential clients through the entire sales cycle from initial discovery to closing, providing customized solutions that align with their educational objectives.

• Keep accurate sales pipeline information and customer records in Salesforce.

• Cultivate relationships with current clients to enhance renewals and generate referrals.

• Represent SmartLab at regional conferences, events, and meetings to boost brand visibility and lead generation.

• Identify, research, and pursue strategic partnership opportunities with corporations, foundations, and nonprofits that align with SmartLab's mission.

• Develop and manage a regional portfolio of partners focused on STEM, workforce readiness, equity, and related educational initiatives in collaboration with the Strategic Partnerships team.

• Act as the regional point of contact for partnership engagements, ensuring alignment with partner objectives and internal strategy.

• Work together with marketing, product, implementation, and other internal teams to ensure alignment of deliverables and storytelling.

• Travel up to 30% to engage with prospects and attend conferences and other events as necessary.

• Perform administrative tasks, including monitoring sales activities and providing regular progress updates.

• Promote SmartLab's Career-Connected PBL Curriculum, Customized STEM Learning Environments, Hands-On Tools & Equipment, SmartLab Certified Facilitator workspace, and Ongoing Support & Partnership.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, communications, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in the K-12 or EdTech sector.

• At least 2 years of experience in developing or managing strategic partnerships, or equivalent business development experience.

• Proven ability to achieve results independently in a remote, field-based position.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.

• Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM system.

• Capability to cover the states of IL, MO, KS, NE, IA, SD, ND, and MN.

• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
