
Regional Sales Manager – HPLC Chromatography

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Report directly to the VP of Sales
• Create and implement a sales strategy to enhance revenue growth and profitability for Axcend’s Focus LC product line within the designated territory
• Advocate for the Total Cost of Ownership model and showcase ROI through savings on solvents and waste
• Meet and surpass monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets
• Identify, cultivate, and close significant opportunities in life science research sectors
• Formulate, execute, and uphold account strategies and proposals to foster incremental growth
• Build relationships with key decision-makers to strengthen connections and discover new opportunities
• Collaborate with global biopharma clients to meet sustainability objectives using eco-friendly Green HPLC solutions
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and weekly reporting
• Maintain comprehensive account information in the CRM system
• Observe competitive activities and industry trends to develop competitive solutions
• Present and articulate technology, applications, benefits, and value propositions
• Implement strategies to enhance customer relationships using internal resources
• Coordinate with Field Application Scientist and Service teams for demonstrations, sample processing, and post-sales support
• Ensure success for customers and key accounts
• Participate in trade shows, lunch & learns, user group meetings, and virtual events
• BS, MS, or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent work experience is required
• Over 3 years of experience in Life Science capital equipment sales (HPLC/Mass Spec experience is preferred)
• Proven experience in selling within Biopharma, Drug Discovery, or PAT (Process Analytical Technology)
• Capability to effectively lead strategic collaborations with key stakeholders
• Established network of contacts within the industry
• Persistent, sales-driven, and goal-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
• Self-motivated and well-organized, capable of developing contacts and building rapport at all levels
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and executing sales territory plans
• Must reside within the assigned territory
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%, including overnight trips
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HubSpot/SFDC, or other related CRM sales funnel tools
