This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.
• Drive the execution of commercial strategies, enhance sales performance, and strengthen distributor partnerships within a specified geographic area.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Distributor Partners to oversee the sales funnel, inventory management, and regional growth initiatives.
• Lead the development of regional training strategies while providing coaching, development, and performance support.
• Conduct ride-alongs, field visits, and business reviews alongside sales representatives and distributor partners.
• Manage opportunity tracking, ensure pipeline health, maintain forecasting accuracy, and engage in strategic account planning and territory development.
• Supervise regional product and instrument inventory, including the management of loaner usage and consignment placements.
• Organize cadaver labs, journal clubs, in-services, trade shows, and surgeon education programs.
• Address operational, product, inventory, and customer-related challenges effectively.
• Identify potential opportunities for account contracts, pricing agreements, and local commercial collaborations.
• Work in conjunction with contracting, legal, supply chain, Marketing, MedEd, Operations, and Customer Service teams.
• Relay regional requirements and field feedback to the Area Vice President and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Spend a minimum of 60% of the work week in the field with customers and Regional Sales Representatives.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device sales is necessary.
• Previous leadership or mentorship experience is highly preferred.
• Strong comprehension of OR-based selling, surgeon engagement, and distributor sales models is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and influence both direct representatives and distributor partners.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and analytical skills are required.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region is necessary.
• A valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance are mandatory.
• The ability to travel up to 75% of the time is required.
• Overnight stays away from home are necessary.
