This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Execute commercial strategies, enhance sales performance, and bolster distributor partnerships within a specified geographic area.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Distributor Partners to oversee sales pipelines, inventory management, and regional growth initiatives.
• Develop and lead training strategies for the region while providing coaching, development, and performance assistance.
• Conduct ride-alongs, field visits, and business evaluations with representatives and distributor partners.
• Manage opportunity tracking, assess pipeline health, ensure forecasting accuracy, and develop strategic account plans and territory growth.
• Supervise regional inventory of products and instruments, manage consignment placements, loaner usage, and analyze field usage trends.
• Organize cadaver labs, journal clubs, in-services, trade exhibitions, and educational programs for surgeons.
• Address operational, product, inventory, and customer-related challenges.
• Identify and establish new account contracts, pricing agreements, and local business partnerships.
• Provide support to value analysis committees, hospital administration, and procurement groups.
• Work closely with Marketing, MedEd, Operations, Customer Service, contracting, legal, and supply chain teams.
• Relay regional requirements and field insights to the Area Vice President and cross-functional stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device sales is required.
• Leadership or mentoring experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of operating room-based sales, surgeon engagement, and distributor sales models.
• Demonstrated capability to coach and influence both direct representatives and distributor partners.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the designated region.
• A valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance are mandatory.
• Must be prepared to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Overnight travel and out-of-town stays are necessary.
• The role necessitates frequent car and air travel.
• A minimum of 60% of work hours will be spent in the field with customers and Regional Sales Representatives.
