This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Manage a Federal sales territory encompassing pipeline development, territory and account planning, forecasting, achieving quotas, delivering sales presentations, and overseeing short-, mid-, and long-term opportunity management.
• Build and sustain active relationships with key Federal and DOD decision-makers, partners, and customers.
• Identify, develop, and implement account strategies to secure new business opportunities and enhance customer revenue within the designated region.
• Negotiate, scope, and finalize agreements to surpass booking and revenue quota goals.
• Aim to access decision-makers in critical prospect accounts.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services, Customer Support, and Product Development teams.
• Work collaboratively with partners to capitalize on established account presence and relationships.
• Gather, maintain, and share accurate prospect information using Salesforce.com.
• Over 7 years of proven solution sales experience.
• More than 3 years of experience in selling software security and/or infrastructure products within the Federal Government and DOD Community.
• Familiarity and experience with the Federal Government’s procurement process, regulations, GSA schedule, and GWACs.
• Active DOD clearance with a US Government badge is preferred.
• Must be eligible to obtain a US Government clearance.
• Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity, Cloud, and SaaS technologies, along with competitive offerings.
• Proven track record of exceeding booking and revenue goals.
• Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales methodologies.
• Ability to cultivate executive relationships, communicate product and business strategies effectively, and generate demand.
• Skill in understanding how technology products and solutions address business challenges, along with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a systematic approach to analyzing complex multivariate issues.
• Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with senior executives.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation capabilities.
• Strong time management, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel on short notice.
• Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
• BA/BS degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business results.
