
Regional Sales Manager – Eastern Canada

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee Tensar sales operations throughout Eastern Canada, specifically in Ontario, Quebec, and the Atlantic provinces.
• Aid and facilitate the qualification of Tensar proprietary systems by executing bid strategies aimed at securing business.
• Develop specifications for Tensar systems in collaboration with municipal and consulting engineers, guiding them through to construction.
• Collaborate with owners, contractors, and distribution partners.
• Serve as a liaison between Tensar's engineering team and clients.
• Formulate and implement a business development strategy targeting transportation, private development, commercial projects, and civil construction.
• Cultivate and enhance distributor relationships across the assigned territory.
• Provide training, education, and technical support to distributors.
• Offer job site assistance as needed.
• Produce monthly reports for the Area Director to monitor key projects and forecast manufacturing sales.
• At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
• Preferred experience in creating specifications with municipal and consulting engineers and overseeing them through to construction.
• Experience in selling through or supporting distribution partners.
• Bilingual in verbal and written communication in both English and French.
• Willingness to travel regionally, approximately 25% to 50% of the time.
• Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, negotiation abilities, and customer relations skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritize assignments.
• Ability to navigate within a matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated leadership, urgency, and commitment to project and organizational success.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred.
