
Regional Sales Manager – East Coast

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Lead, mentor, and enhance the skills of sales representatives throughout the East Coast via training sessions, individual coaching, field ride-alongs, client meetings, and performance evaluations.
• Provide ongoing training on fire sprinkler and fire alarm inspections, service and repairs, NFPA standards, sales methodologies, pricing strategies, and industry best practices.
• Take ownership of regional sales outcomes, which include pipeline development, forecasting, conversion rates, sales activities, revenue growth, and the performance of individual representatives.
• Set clear expectations and action plans for representatives failing to meet sales or activity objectives.
• Promote consistent use of CRM systems and ensure accurate tracking of pipeline, forecasting, customer interactions, and sales activity data.
• Collaborate with business unit leadership, operations, estimating, and service teams to ensure that sales commitments are fulfilled.
• Lead the execution of national account strategies within the East Coast region.
• Assist in the rollout and management of multi-location and national clients across various markets.
• Cultivate partnerships with subcontractors and vendors to enhance national service delivery and geographical coverage.
• Negotiate pricing, scopes of work, and service agreements while ensuring margins and service standards are maintained.
• Engage in strategic customer meetings, presentations, contract negotiations, and escalation management.
• Discover new market opportunities, target accounts, and industries to drive regional organic growth.
• Support the recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and integration of new sales representatives.
• Act as the senior point of contact for critical customer escalations and complex sales situations.
• Build a high-performance, accountable sales organization in the East Coast while enhancing collaboration between sales and operations.
• Extensive experience in sales related to fire sprinkler and fire alarm service, inspections, and repairs.
• Over 5 years of experience in sales leadership or management within the fire protection sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of fire protection inspection and service environments.
• Familiarity with NFPA 25 and NFPA 72 is essential.
• Proven ability to coach, train, inspire, and hold sales teams accountable for measurable outcomes.
• Understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, sales KPIs, pricing strategies, and margin management.
• Experience in working cross-functionally with operations, estimating, service, and executive leadership.
• Ability to cultivate executive-level customer relationships and navigate complex organizational structures.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the East Coast region.
• National account experience is highly favored, particularly with multi-location customers and complex enterprise relationships.
