This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Facilitate sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction for sophisticated analytical and scientific instruments.
• Assist clients in making well-informed choices in research, quality assurance, and process enhancement.
• Cultivate and strengthen customer relationships.
• Represent the comprehensive portfolio of instruments, consumables, and services offered by Thermo Fisher Scientific.
• Serve various markets including pharmaceutical, environmental, industrial, food safety, healthcare, and academic research sectors.
• Formulate and implement strategic sales initiatives.
• Establish and uphold relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Travel up to 70% throughout the Southwest territory.
• A Master's degree is preferred along with 5 years of sales experience in analytical instrument markets or equivalent laboratory experience.
• Preferred academic fields include Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• Proficient technical knowledge of analytical instrumentation and its applications.
• Understanding of laboratory workflows and customer requirements across essential market segments.
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation capabilities.
• Competence in developing and executing strategic sales plans.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and the MS Office suite.
• Project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to forge and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in collaborative work environments.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
• A valid driver's license is necessary.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%.
