This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee a team of account representatives to achieve commercial objectives.
• Ensure the consistent implementation of customer engagement strategies across a specified customer base.
• Establish team priorities, track performance, and mentor team members.
• Evaluate sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and address escalated issues.
• Collaborate across departments to align team activities with overall business objectives.
• Assist in the rollout of new tools, standards, and commercial initiatives.
• Manage regional sales operations for both large and small molecules to meet sales targets within budgeted operating costs.
• Supervise direct reports and ensure the attainment of regional sales goals and objectives.
• Meet annual and quarterly sales targets.
• Prepare weekly sales and collection forecasts.
• Provide resources such as training, demonstrations, road shows, and special customer visits.
• Engage with customers to drive sales and secure collections.
• Offer sales projections to the Supply Chain for procurement planning.
• Monitor customer visits, sales status, product performance, order delivery, and regional targets.
• Track collections and daily sales outstanding.
• Encourage field inquiries and establish customer feedback systems.
• Gather competitor and pricing information.
• Manage stock movement, promotional materials, territory allocation, and distributor distribution.
• Explore new territories for market expansion.
• Identify and develop new customer segments.
• B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or B.Tech in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related fields.
• An MBA in Marketing is an additional advantage.
• 10–15 years of pertinent experience.
• Experience in managing large teams.
• Familiarity with market dynamics.
