This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Secure contracts within a designated geographic area in Southeast USA.
• Act as a reliable consultant to customers in the power generation sector.
• Oversee a network of third-party sales representatives promoting Unifin products.
• Provide weekly sales forecasts along with comprehensive travel itineraries.
• Submit weekly reports on expenses and customer interactions.
• Deliver monthly reports for the territory, detailing sales activities, market trends, competitive insights, and opportunities.
• Engage in monthly sales meetings and teleconferences.
• Participate in trade shows, customer events, and industry gatherings.
• Maintain regular communication with Marketing and Sales leadership.
• Work alongside Application Engineering and manufacturing teams to create customer solutions and address issues.
• Offer customer support throughout all stages of the sales process.
• Present technical solutions and product advantages to customer management and field teams.
• Identify customer challenges through a consultative sales approach.
• Develop and deliver solutions that enhance customer performance, reliability, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Follow up on quotations and update on opportunity statuses.
• Adhere to company safety, travel, reporting, and business conduct standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Candidates with strong mechanical skills, relevant experience, and formal postgraduate education in the technology and power generation sectors may also be considered.
• 6 to 9 years of experience in technical sales, application support, or engineering within the power generation industry.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel around 50% within a specified geographic area in the United States.
• Strong customer orientation and excellent relationship management abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Demonstrated success in leading programs and projects.
• Experience in product selection, costing, proposal creation, and technical quotations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Knowledge of cooling applications for generators and transformers.
• Understanding of customer processes and operational challenges in the power generation field.
• Ability to work safely and comply with organizational policies and standards.
