This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Secure contracts within a designated geographic area in the Southeast USA.
• Act as a trusted consultant for power generation clients.
• Oversee a network of third-party sales representatives promoting Unifin products.
• Provide monthly territory reports detailing sales activities, market trends, competitive analysis, and significant opportunities.
• Engage in monthly sales meetings and teleconferences.
• Participate in trade shows, customer gatherings, and industry events.
• Conduct site visits for project assessments and equipment evaluations.
• Maintain regular communication with the Marketing and Sales Director.
• Work alongside Application Engineering and manufacturing teams to create customer solutions and address concerns.
• Offer customer support throughout the sales cycle, including pre-sale, during-sale, and post-sale phases.
• Demonstrate technical solutions and product benefits to customer management and field operations.
• Identify customer challenges and operational requirements through consultative selling techniques.
• Develop and deliver value-driven solutions that enhance customer performance, reliability, productivity, and cost-efficiency.
• Follow up on quotes and provide updates on opportunity statuses.
• Adhere to company safety, travel, reporting, and business conduct policies.
• A Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Candidates with strong mechanical skills, significant relevant experience, and formal postgraduate education may also be considered.
• Between 6 to 9 years of experience in technical sales, application support, or engineering within the power generation sector.
• A valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel around 50% within a specified geographic territory in the United States.
• Experience in product selection, cost estimation, proposal creation, and technical quotations.
• Preference for candidates who have worked with electric utilities in the Southern U.S.
• Strong skills in customer relationship management.
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership qualities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to lead projects and initiatives.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
