This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Secure contracts within a specified geographic area in the Southeast USA.
• Act as a trusted advisor for power generation clients.
• Oversee a network of third-party sales representatives promoting Unifin products.
• Provide monthly territory reports detailing sales activities, market trends, competitive insights, and significant opportunities.
• Engage in monthly sales meetings and teleconferences, reporting on sales initiatives and new business development.
• Attend trade exhibitions, customer gatherings, and industry events.
• Conduct site visits for project assessments and equipment evaluations.
• Maintain regular communication with the Marketing and Sales Director.
• Collaborate with Application Engineering and manufacturing to create customer solutions, assist sales, and address customer issues.
• Deliver customer support throughout the sales process and beyond.
• Present technical solutions and product benefits to customer management and field operations.
• Identify customer challenges and operational requirements through consultative sales techniques.
• Develop and present value-driven solutions to enhance customer performance, reliability, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Follow up on quotes and update on opportunity statuses.
• Adhere to company safety, travel, reporting, and business conduct policies.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude, extensive experience, and formal postgraduate training relevant to the technology and power generation sectors will be considered.
• 6 to 9 years of experience in technical sales, application support, or engineering within the power generation field.
• A valid driver's license is necessary.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% within a designated geographic territory in the United States.
• Strong customer orientation and relationship management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to lead programs and projects effectively.
• Experience with product selection, pricing, proposal creation, and technical quotations.
• Familiarity with working for or with electric utilities in the Southern U.S.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Knowledge of generator and transformer cooling applications.
• Understanding of customer processes and operational challenges within the power generation industry.
