This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +6 more states.
• Propel revenue growth across a multi-channel territory that includes machine builders/dealers, OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and end-users.
• Acquire new business and enhance SCHUNK’s footprint within the specified territory.
• Identify, qualify, and finalize opportunities; develop a pipeline that aligns with territory objectives.
• Showcase SCHUNK’s value proposition through product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Redefine pricing in terms of ROI using quantifiable outcomes.
• Ensure SCHUNK specifications are secured on new builds with machine builders/dealers and system integrators.
• Inspire, enable, recruit, onboard, and train distribution and integration partners.
• Keep accurate records of opportunities, visit reports, quotes, and follow-ups in SAP C4C.
• Utilize sales reports to track progress and assist in annual and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Inside Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams.
• Create polished proposals and sales materials focused on value.
• Engage in plant visits, product demonstrations, trade show participation, cold outreach, networking, and closing deals.
• Oversee partner performance, manage channel conflicts, develop territory strategies, navigate complex sales cycles, and outline clear next steps.
• Assist in quoting activities and contribute to marketing initiatives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience in technical sales.
• Over 5 years of experience in manufacturing/machining/industrial automation sales with a proven record in new business development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in CRM systems (SAP C4C) and virtual communication tools.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining consistent territory coverage.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Technical knowledge in toolholding, workholding, gripping systems, and automation.
• Experience with value-based selling, including pricing and ROI considerations.
• Strong CRM discipline and effective pipeline management.
• Ability to engage with machine builders/dealers, OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and end-users.
