This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Develop and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with dealers, dealer sales teams, direct accounts, and end users.
• Meet annual sales and performance objectives.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director to execute the region’s annual business strategy.
• Provide monthly itineraries and significant regional activities to the Regional Sales Director.
• Analyze product performance, competitive landscape, dealer activities, sales strategies, new product developments, dealer concerns, and profile updates.
• Conduct quarterly business evaluations with dealers and offer weekly sales forecasts.
• Address sales, product service, equipment-related, and dealer challenges.
• Travel across the South Carolina and Georgia sales region to enhance, develop, and expand customer business.
• Lead, participate in, and inspire the dealer sales force to effectively sell Nilfisk products.
• Engage with and cultivate both existing and potential dealers and end users.
• Keep dealer prospect lists updated and coordinate sales calls for new opportunities.
• Manage customer databases efficiently.
• Maintain a record of significant end users within the region.
• Integrate daily sales tasks into Microsoft Outlook.
• Conduct daily sales outreach to key end users to initiate projects and boost market share.
• Monitor and manage new project initiations through the sales pipeline in Salesforce.
• Execute building assessments and product demonstrations.
• Utilize sales tools and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Replace competing machine lines within Nilfisk dealerships and cultivate exclusive dealer partnerships.
• Relay product information effectively to dealers.
• Align sales initiatives with Strategic Account Managers.
• Conduct field tests in support of product management teams.
• Establish enduring, profitable relationships with dealer partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of sales experience in the sanitary supply sector or a similar industry.
• Proven experience and achievements in dealer channel management and end-user sales/account management.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Strong work ethic with initiative in addressing problems and executing corrective action plans.
• Business savvy and maturity.
• Excellent selling and end-user account management capabilities.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel pivot tables, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Salesforce.
• Effective skills in time and territory management.
• Capable problem-solving skills, including gap analysis, action plan development, and execution.
• Willingness to travel overnight as necessary.
• Ability to transport company products for demonstrations.
• Competence in conducting product seminars and presentations.
• Capable of passing a physical examination that includes lifting, prolonged standing, and safe driving durations.
