Regional Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Seek and secure new distributor, EPC, and installer accounts throughout the Northeast.

• Manage the territory strategy comprehensively, encompassing target selection, market entry, and account expansion.

• Engage in complex B2B sales involving multiple decision-makers within residential and commercial sectors.

• Propel growth in both residential and commercial channels.

• Deliver hands-on product and sales training for partner teams.

• Provide field insights to product and marketing teams regarding positioning, pricing, and competitive landscape.

• Travel for client meetings, site assessments, and trade shows.

• Take ownership of revenue growth within the territory.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record as a hunter with experience in identifying, negotiating, and closing new technical B2B accounts.

• Minimum of 5 years in technical B2B sales or sales management.

• Experience in the solar or energy storage sector.

• Solid understanding of PV systems, inverters, and battery storage.

• Familiarity with the distributor and installer market landscape.

• Ability to work autonomously and generate innovative ideas.

• Must be based in California.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50–70% within the region for client visits, site evaluations, and trade shows.

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a technical field is preferred.

• Experience in energy storage sales is advantageous.

• A strong network of installers, EPCs, and distributors in California is a plus.
