This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets within the designated Indianapolis, Indiana area.
• Develop and manage account and territory strategies.
• Build relationships with physicians and key hospital stakeholders.
• Promote ongoing enhancements in results orientation, product approval workflows, territory expansion, and clinical expertise.
• Exchange best practices and innovative ideas with colleagues.
• Utilize computer-based systems for customer and account management to monitor interactions, activities, and follow-ups.
• Submit timely activity reports along with monthly and quarterly business assessments.
• Support trade show displays and participate in company-sponsored sales meetings.
• Collaborate with surgeons to boost visibility through SPR presentations at Grand Rounds, journal clubs, and poster displays.
• Identify cases suitable for case studies, white papers, and additions to the video library.
• Organize and facilitate hospital product approval procedures.
• Locate additional target hospitals and physicians within the region.
• Assist in training surgeons and hospital personnel.
• Engage in designated project team activities.
• Over 3 years of sales experience, ideally in orthopedic or medical device sales.
• At least a Bachelor's degree; a related field is preferred.
• Capability to "concept" sell innovative products.
• Proven success in a start-up atmosphere and/or in launching new products.
• Proficiency in customer and account profiling.
• History of consistently exceeding sales targets and leading team performance.
• Strong professional references validating respect from previous supervisors and tier one clients.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, high initiative, and self-driven approach.
• Essential experience in customer service skills.
• Effective self-starter and team player with consensus-building abilities.
• Capacity to assess communication and advertising materials and initiatives.
• Experience in creating and implementing tools for gathering feedback on business needs and enhancements.
• Ability to articulate customer requirements effectively within the organization.
• Aptitude to foresee the timing and necessity for new promotional materials.
• Proficient in working effectively via phone and email.
• Comfortable in a start-up environment and open to evolving into a larger, more structured organization.
• Capability to work effectively in a virtual setting from home or at a central office.
• Willingness to travel extensively during the day, with occasional overnight and weekend trips.
