This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Achieve or surpass the sales targets set by the company within the designated territory.
• Develop and uphold account and territory strategies to meet and fulfill sales goals.
• Build relationships with physicians and stakeholders in hospitals.
• Commit to ongoing professional development in areas such as results orientation, product approval procedures, territory growth, and clinical expertise.
• Exchange practices and innovative ideas with colleagues.
• Utilize computer-based customer and account management systems to monitor contacts, activities, and follow-ups.
• Submit timely activity reports and provide monthly or quarterly business updates.
• Aid in trade show displays and participate in company-sponsored sales events.
• Collaborate with surgeons to enhance visibility through SPR presentations at Grand Rounds, journal club meetings, and poster sessions.
• Identify cases suitable for case studies, white papers, and additions to the video library.
• Stay updated with RepTrax and other third-party accreditation requirements.
• Engage in assigned project team initiatives.
• Oversee and facilitate the product approval processes in hospitals.
• Discover additional target hospitals and physicians within the assigned territory.
• Provide training to surgeons and hospital personnel.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in orthopedic or medical device sales.
• At least a Bachelor’s degree; a related field is preferred.
• Capability to sell innovative products through a conceptual approach.
• Proven success in a startup environment and/or in launching new products.
• Proficient in customer and account profiling.
• A history of consistently surpassing sales targets and leading team performance.
• Strong professional references that reflect the respect of former supervisors and top-tier clients.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, high initiative, and self-motivated attitude.
• Fundamental customer service skills and experience.
• A proactive self-starter who is also an effective team player with consensus-building abilities.
• Competence in evaluating communication and advertising materials and programs, offering recommendations.
• Experience in creating and implementing tools to gather accurate feedback on business needs and enhancements.
• Ability to effectively communicate customer requirements within the organization.
• Anticipate the timing and necessity for new promotional materials.
• Proficient in working effectively via phone and email.
• Comfortable in a startup atmosphere and eager to transition into a larger, more structured organization.
• Capable of effectively operating in a virtual environment, whether at home or in a centrally located office.
• Extensive daytime travel required, with occasional overnight and weekend commitments.
• Must be able to operate within a multi-state territory.
