This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Achieve or surpass company sales targets in the greater Memphis area, encompassing Germantown, South Haven, and Northern Mississippi.
• Develop and sustain account and territory strategies to meet territory sales goals.
• Build and nurture customer-focused relationships with physicians and other hospital stakeholders.
• Strive for ongoing improvement in results orientation, product approval processes, territory growth, and clinical expertise.
• Share practices and innovative ideas with team members.
• Utilize computer-based customer/account management systems to monitor contacts, activities, and follow-ups.
• Submit timely activity reports and provide monthly/quarterly business reviews as required.
• Support trade show exhibits and participate in periodic company-sponsored sales meetings.
• Collaborate with surgeons to enhance visibility through SPR presentations at Grand Rounds, journal club meetings, and poster presentations.
• Aid in identifying cases for case studies, white papers, and additions to the video library.
• Keep up-to-date with RepTrax and other third-party accreditation requirements for account access.
• Participate in assigned project team activities.
• Coordinate and streamline hospital product approval processes.
• Identify additional target hospitals and physicians within the designated territory.
• Assist in training surgeons and hospital personnel.
• Operate in a small office environment and engage directly with colleagues.
• Travel extensively during daytime hours, with occasional overnight and weekend commitments.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in orthopedic or medical device sales.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a related field is preferred.
• Ability to "concept" sell innovative products.
• Proven success in a start-up atmosphere and/or launching new products.
• Proficient in customer and account profiling.
• Demonstrated history of consistently surpassing sales targets and leading team “leader boards.”
• Strong professional references that highlight respect from previous supervisors and tier-one customers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, high initiative, and a self-directed approach.
• Excellent customer service skills and experience.
• Strong self-starter and capable team player.
• Exceptional consensus-building abilities.
• Skillful in evaluating communication/advertising materials and programs with recommendations.
• Experience in creating and implementing tools to gather accurate feedback on business needs and improvements.
• Capable of effectively communicating customer requirements within the company.
• Anticipate the timing and necessity for new promotional materials.
• Proficient in utilizing phone and email for company management interactions.
• Comfortable in a start-up environment and willing to transition into a larger structured organization.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual setting, whether at home or in a centrally located office.
• Willingness to travel extensively during daytime hours, with occasional overnight and weekend travel.
