This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Achieve or surpass the company's sales targets throughout the territory from Williamsport to Easton, Pennsylvania, encompassing Hazleton and Allentown.
• Develop and uphold account and territory plans to set and meet sales goals.
• Cultivate relationships with physicians and key hospital stakeholders.
• Strive for ongoing professional development in results orientation, product approval processes, territory growth, and clinical expertise.
• Exchange best practices and innovative ideas with team members.
• Utilize computer-based customer/account management systems to monitor contacts, activities, and follow-ups.
• Submit timely activity reports and conduct monthly/quarterly business reviews.
• Support trade show exhibits and participate in periodic company-sponsored sales meetings.
• Collaborate with surgeons to enhance visibility through SPR presentations at Grand Rounds, journal club meetings, and poster presentations.
• Identify cases for case studies, white papers, and contributions to the video library.
• Adhere to current RepTrax and similar third-party accreditation standards.
• Engage in assigned project team activities.
• Coordinate and streamline hospital product approval processes.
• Identify additional target hospitals and physicians within the designated territory.
• Aid in training surgeons and hospital staff.
• Undertake extensive daytime travel, with occasional overnight and weekend commitments.
• Over 3 years of sales experience, ideally in orthopedic or medical device sales.
• Bachelor's degree at a minimum; a related field is preferred.
• Capability to “concept” sell innovative products.
• Proven success in a start-up setting and/or introducing new products.
• Proficiency in customer and account profiling.
• A history of consistently exceeding sales targets and leading team performance.
• Strong professional references attesting to respect from former supervisors and tier one customers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, high initiative, and self-directed approach.
• Critical customer service skills and experience.
• Strong self-starter and effective team collaborator with consensus-building abilities.
• Capability to assess communication/advertising materials and programs and provide recommendations.
• Experience in developing and executing tools to garner accurate feedback regarding business needs and enhancements.
• Proficient in communicating customer requirements effectively within the organization.
• Ability to foresee the timing and necessity for new promotional materials.
• Proficient in remote communication via phone and email for company management.
• Comfortable in a start-up atmosphere and eager to transition into a larger, more structured organization.
• Capable of working efficiently in a virtual environment, whether at home or at a centrally located office.
• Willing and able to travel extensively during daytime hours, with occasional overnight and weekend travel.
