This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Achieve or surpass the company's sales targets within the Western Michigan region.
• Develop and maintain account and territory strategies to set and reach sales goals.
• Build and nurture customer-focused relationships with physicians and hospital stakeholders.
• Continuously enhance results orientation, manage product approval processes, develop territories, and expand clinical knowledge.
• Share insights and innovative ideas with team members.
• Utilize computer-based customer and account management systems to monitor contacts, activities, and follow-ups.
• Provide timely activity reports and conduct monthly/quarterly business reviews as required.
• Support trade show displays and participate in periodic company-sponsored sales meetings.
• Collaborate with surgeons to increase visibility through SPR presentations at Grand Rounds, journal clubs, and poster presentations.
• Identify cases suitable for case studies, white papers, and additions to the video library.
• Participate in assigned project team initiatives.
• Manage and facilitate the hospital product approval process.
• Identify additional target hospitals and physicians within the assigned territory.
• Assist in training surgeons and hospital personnel.
• Over 3 years of sales experience, ideally in orthopedic or medical device sales.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; preferably in a related field.
• Ability to sell innovative products through conceptual selling techniques.
• Proven success in a start-up environment and/or in launching new products.
• Proficiency in customer and account profiling.
• A history of consistently exceeding sales targets and leading team performance.
• Strong professional references that reflect the respect of former supervisors and high-level clients.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a high degree of initiative and self-direction.
• Essential customer service experience and skills.
• Strong self-starter and effective collaborator with consensus-building capabilities.
• Ability to assess communication and advertising materials and provide recommendations.
• Experience in developing and implementing tools for acquiring precise feedback on business needs and enhancements.
• Proficient in communicating customer requirements within the organization.
• Capability to foresee the timing and necessity for new promotional materials.
• Ability to effectively manage communications via phone and email for company operations.
• Comfortable in a start-up setting and open to evolving into a more structured organization.
• Competent in working in a virtual setting, whether from home or a centrally located office.
• Willingness to travel extensively during the day, with occasional overnight and weekend travel.
• Must stay current with all RepTrax and similar third-party accreditation requirements to maintain full access to target accounts.
