This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Achieve or surpass company sales targets within the designated territory.
• Develop and uphold account and territory plans to set and reach sales goals.
• Cultivate a customer-focused culture by building relationships with physicians and hospital stakeholders.
• Continuously enhance results orientation, management of the product approval process, territory development, and clinical expertise.
• Provide innovative practices and suggestions to team members.
• Utilize computer-based customer/account management systems to monitor contacts, activities, and follow-ups.
• Submit timely activity reports and monthly/quarterly business reviews as required.
• Support trade show exhibits and participate in periodic company-sponsored sales meetings.
• Collaborate with surgeons to improve visibility through SPR presentations at Grand Rounds, journal club meetings, and poster presentations.
• Aid in identifying cases for case studies, white papers, and additions to the video library.
• Keep up-to-date with RepTrax and similar third-party accreditation requirements.
• Engage in assigned project team activities.
• Coordinate and manage the hospital product approval process.
• Identify additional target hospitals and physicians within the territory.
• Assist in training surgeons and hospital personnel.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in orthopedic or medical device sales.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a related field is preferred.
• Ability to "concept" sell innovative products.
• Proven success in a start-up environment and/or in launching new products.
• Proficient in customer and account profiling.
• A history of consistently exceeding sales targets and leading team "leader boards."
• Strong professional references demonstrating respect from previous supervisors and tier one customers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, high initiative, and self-directed approach.
• Essential customer service skills and experience.
• Strong self-starter and effective team player with skills in consensus-building.
• Ability to assess communication/advertising materials and provide recommendations.
• Experience in developing and implementing tools to gather accurate business feedback.
• Capacity to effectively communicate customer requirements within the company.
• Ability to foresee the timing and need for promotional materials.
• Proficient in working effectively via phone and email.
• Comfortable in a start-up setting and eager to progress into a larger formal organization.
• Capable of effectively working in a virtual environment, whether from home or a centrally located office.
• Willingness to travel extensively during the day, with occasional overnight and weekend travel.
