This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Achieve or surpass the company's sales targets for the designated Tucson, AZ region.
• Develop and uphold account and territory strategies to set and realize sales objectives.
• Build and nurture customer-focused relationships with physicians and stakeholders in hospitals.
• Continuously enhance results orientation, manage product approval processes, develop the territory, and expand clinical knowledge.
• Provide innovative practices and constructive suggestions to team members.
• Utilize computer-based customer/account management systems to monitor contacts, activities, and follow-ups.
• Complete activity reports and monthly/quarterly business reviews promptly.
• Support trade show exhibits and participate in periodic company-sponsored sales meetings.
• Collaborate with surgeons to boost visibility through SPR presentations at Grand Rounds, journal clubs, and poster presentations.
• Assist in identifying cases for case studies, white papers, and additions to the video library.
• Maintain compliance with current RepTrax and similar third-party accreditation requirements for account access.
• Engage in project team activities.
• Coordinate and facilitate the hospital product approval processes.
• Identify additional target hospitals and physicians within the territory.
• Aid in training surgeons and hospital personnel.
• Travel extensively during the day, with occasional overnight and weekend trips.
• Over 3 years of sales experience, ideally in orthopedic or medical device sales.
• At least a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field.
• Capability to “concept” sell innovative products.
• Proven success in a start-up environment and/or launching new products.
• Ability to profile customers and accounts effectively.
• A history of consistently exceeding sales targets and leading team “leader boards.”
• Strong professional references attesting to the respect of former supervisors and top-tier customers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with high initiative and self-directed orientation.
• Essential customer service skills and experience.
• Strong self-starter and effective team player with skills in consensus building.
• Proficiency in assessing communication/advertising materials and programs, along with making recommendations.
• Experience in creating and implementing tools to gather accurate feedback on business needs and improvements.
• Ability to effectively communicate customer requirements within the company.
• Aptitude for anticipating the timing and necessity for new promotional materials.
• Capability to work efficiently through phone and email for company management.
• Comfortable in a start-up environment and ready to transition into a larger, more formal organization.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual setting, whether from home or a centrally located office.
• Flexibility in working hours based on project and/or customer needs.
• Willingness to travel extensively during the day, with occasional overnight and weekend commitments.
