This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Take charge of daily commercial operations and cultivate customer-facing relationships with Pacific & Regional Distributors in the designated area.
• Propel distribution expansion, item placement, joint business plan execution, and program implementation across regional broadline distributors.
• Foster relationships with designated distributors, encompassing DSR engagement, category management, procurement, and operations leadership.
• Champion new item sell-in, close distribution gaps, and facilitate ride-along execution with distributor DSRs.
• Implement regional joint business plans and monitor performance against established commitments.
• Oversee trade event execution and conduct post-event reconciliation for regional programs.
• Synchronize broker priorities and execution activities across assigned distributors.
• Utilize distributor and operator-pull-through segmentation to focus on high-return opportunities.
• Develop relationships with operator-pull-through targets through food shows, operator visits, and collaborative engagements.
• Detect distribution opportunities and enhance pipeline conversion.
• Utilize distributor reporting to pinpoint whitespace opportunities and prioritize sales efforts.
• Maintain oversight of pipeline health, distribution gains/losses, promotional effects, and customer risks; provide forecast updates to the RBM.
• Keep precise records of customer activity, pipeline, distribution, and opportunity updates in CRM and reporting tools.
• Collaborate on the regional implementation of national broadline contracts.
• Leverage Sales Operations, broker network support, trade governance, and Marketing demand-generation initiatives.
• Deliver regional AOP, track JBP, maintain distribution and item placement scorecards, pipeline metrics, and conduct trade event reconciliations.
• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• 5–8 years of advancing commercial or distributor-facing experience in CPG or foodservice sectors.
• Experience with regional distributors is highly preferred.
• Direct exposure to regional broadline distributors at DSR, category management, and regional procurement levels is preferred.
• Proven track record in distribution growth, item sell-in, and JBP execution.
• Strong sales fundamentals, including opportunity identification, distributor engagement, joint planning, and execution discipline.
• Comfortable navigating between regional responsibilities and national distributor contracts.
• Proficient in cross-functional collaboration across Sales Operations, Finance, R&D, and Marketing.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
• The role encompasses WA, OR, CA, AZ, and CO.
