This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +16 more states.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive territory strategy aimed at enhancing revenue growth, acquiring customers, and increasing market reach.
• Identify, prioritize, and actively pursue opportunities within large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Cultivate and sustain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities and initiatives for account expansion.
• Generate leads through various channels including prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, market insights, and customer relationships.
• Identify and engage with key stakeholders within project teams and executive organizations.
• Schedule and conduct customer meetings, site visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Lead intricate opportunities from initial discovery through to proposal development, contract negotiation, closing, implementation, and ongoing account growth.
• Communicate business value and return on investment to operational and executive decision-makers.
• Maintain precise forecasting, pipeline visibility, and CRM data utilizing Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and BuildCentral.
• Build trusted relationships with general contractors, project executives, operations leaders, procurement teams, safety professionals, and site personnel.
• Establish executive-level partnerships that support long-term account growth and retention.
• Collaborate with Customer Excellence, Operations, and Leadership teams to achieve desired customer outcomes.
• Collect and relay competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and market trends.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to enhance messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
• Represent Biosite at industry events, customer meetings, and networking opportunities.
• Achieve or surpass assigned sales targets, convert new opportunities, expand existing relationships, and promote customer retention.
• A minimum of 4 years of quota-carrying B2B field sales experience.
• Proven track record of developing new business and managing customer relationships within a defined territory.
• Experience overseeing a complete sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in using CRM platforms, such as Salesforce.
• Skilled in sales intelligence tools, including ZoomInfo and BuildCentral.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory is essential.
• Candidates must either reside within the assigned territory or be willing to relocate.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be taken into account.
• Experience selling to the construction industry, the commercial construction ecosystem, or related markets that serve construction clients.
• Familiarity with construction technology, SaaS, workforce management, access control, security solutions, or other related technology platforms.
• Experience working with equipment rental organizations.
• Proven ability to present software solutions and articulate complex value propositions to executive-level audiences.
