This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +15 more states.
• Create and implement a strategic territory plan aimed at enhancing revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market penetration.
• Identify, prioritize, and pursue opportunities within substantial commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of new business prospects and initiatives for account expansion.
• Generate leads through various methods including prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, market intelligence, and customer relationships.
• Identify and engage with essential stakeholders across project teams and executive organizations.
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Manage complex opportunities from initial discovery through proposal development, contract negotiation, closing, implementation, and continuous account growth.
• Convey business value and return on investment to operational and executive decision-makers.
• Maintain precise forecasting, pipeline visibility, and CRM data using tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and BuildCentral.
• Cultivate relationships with general contractors, project executives, operations leaders, procurement teams, safety professionals, and site personnel.
• Establish partnerships at the executive level to support long-term account growth and retention.
• Collaborate with Customer Excellence, Operations, and Leadership teams to achieve customer outcomes.
• Collect and communicate competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and market trends.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to enhance messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
• Represent Biosite at industry events, customer meetings, and networking opportunities.
• Meet or surpass assigned sales objectives while driving customer retention and long-term account growth.
• Minimum of 4 years of quota-carrying B2B field sales experience.
• Proven track record in developing new business and managing customer relationships within a defined territory.
• Experience overseeing a complete sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Familiarity with sales intelligence tools like ZoomInfo and BuildCentral.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional experience will also be considered.
• Experience in selling to the construction industry, the commercial construction ecosystem, or related markets serving construction clients.
• Background in construction technology, SaaS, workforce management, access control, security solutions, or similar technology platforms.
• Experience with equipment rental organizations.
• Proficient in presenting software solutions and conveying complex value propositions to executive-level audiences.
• Candidates must either reside within or be willing to relocate to the specified territory.
