This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Account Managers while adopting a player/coach approach.
• Develop and implement a strategic go-to-market business plan for the Greater Toronto Area.
• Surpass quarterly and annual revenue objectives for the territory.
• Build a robust sales pipeline through cultivating relationships with prospects, partners, and customers.
• Recruit, develop, inspire, and retain regional sales talent.
• Manage and enhance customer relationships and revenue streams for Arista's networking and security solutions.
• Identify and cultivate partner resellers as well as value-added reseller relationships.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate sales and marketing efforts with Arista's headquarters.
• Monitor client satisfaction levels and escalate issues for resolution when necessary.
• Promote a collaborative team culture that balances empowerment with accountability.
• Establish priorities and timelines to achieve defined goals and commitments.
• Report directly to a Regional Sales Director or Area VP of Sales.
• Candidates must reside within the Greater Toronto Area.
• A BA/BS degree is required.
• A minimum of 12 years of sales experience in the high-tech sector, preferably in networking.
• Prior experience in managing, leading, and building sales teams is essential.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
• Experience in developing new business and managing complex sales cycles from lead generation to closing.
• Core expertise in networking solutions, routers/switches, and environments related to data centers and campuses.
• Demonstrated success in engaging with CXO-level executives and multi-level selling.
• Sales leadership experience with senior sales teams is required.
• Experience selling to large enterprise organizations.
• Familiarity with network sales and knowledge of data center, campus, and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of local and regional markets, along with established relationships with Arista partners in data center technology.
• Knowledge of competitive products, solutions, and services is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to build relationships.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
• Initiative, follow-through, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to integrity are vital.
• Ability to navigate both strategic and operational challenges, articulate strategy and business plans, and meet individual sales quotas.
